Doug Riemer
Doug is the owner and pilot of Nordic Air. A resident of Southeast Alaska since 1977, Doug earned a degree in aviation and became a licensed pilot in 1983. He has flown passengers steadily in SE Alaska since 1986.
He is also a highly experienced hunter and fisherman.

Cessna 185

Doug's plane is a Cessna 185 with amphibious floats (retractable wheels). He regularly takes off from the Petersburg, Alaska municipal airport with passengers and gear, then setting down on water at the destination. The plane has room for three passengers, plus gear. It is also equipped with an aviation certified GPS mapping system.
